Case Description
Let me preface this by saying I have a huge dental phobia. My teeth look normal/nice to regular people/the general public, but in actuality I haven't gone to the dentist in years and years, so I know there must be dozens of cavities lurking inside, especially since I've been feeling sensitivity lately. I am so terrified that if i finally get the nerve to make an appointment, the dentist and staff will scold/judge me throughout the visit about my lack of dental vigilance. I don't know if certain dentists are nicer than others around here, because I just recently moved tot the NW side of Indy/Brownsburg area. I guess I don't know what dentist to see and I'm wondering how enbarrassing/unpleasant the scolding will be once i get there.

Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

egarratt, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rod P Strickland, DDS. I have a practice located in Fishers. It is called Really Smile. You may have heard of us. I realize that we are not the closest to Brownsburg... however we rountienly see patients from all over Indiana, and the midwest. Please visit our website at www.reallysmile.com. Our practice is limited to treatment of complex, cosmetic, and reconstructive dentistry. We are used to seeing very highly complex dental cases. In fact, we have two local anesthesiologists that we work with... who can come into our office... and put you completely to sleep for your dental work.......... if you wish. Of course, we don't have to do this with every patient, but we have it available if you wish. Please take a look at our website, and if you wish email me with your name and contact information, and I'll have someone from my office contact you. Our first appointment is always a consultation... so we can have a chance to get to know each other, before beginning treatment. My email is rstrickland@reallysmile.com Thanks, Rod
